Eveline Liebaert
Eveline earned her Master of Science in Personnel Management and Industrial Psychology, followed by a Master of Science in Clinical Psychology, both from Ghent University. Currently pursuing her PhD, Eveline combines her academic research with her clinical work at Praktijk Helder.
Under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Chris Baeken and Prof. Dr. Ernst Koster, Eveline explores the potential of cognitive training as a therapeutic intervention for burnout and depression. Additionally, she investigates the pervasive issues of hiring discrimination and the associated stigma faced by individuals with a history of depression or burnout in the workplace. While pursuing her PhD, Eveline also works as a clinical psychologist in Ghent at Praktijk Helder, where a cognitive behavioral therapy framework is applied. This combination brings a valuable blend of theory and practice to her endeavors.
