Beatriz Cavendish
I am a neuroscience researcher with a bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Brasília (Brazil), where I also completed my master's in Behavioral Neuroscience. Currently, I am a PhD candidate at the University of São Paulo (Brazil), focusing my research on how brain morphology influences the clinical response to transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) in the treatment of depression. My interest in neuromodulation extends beyond this topic, and I was and am involved in various studies exploring its application in different clinical conditions, including cognitive dysfunctions and obsessive-compulsive disorder.
I am currently conducting a research visit at GHEPLab, under the supervision of Prof. Chris Baeken, investigating how individual neuroanatomical differences influence the response to accelerated magnetic stimulation. Beyond research, I am passionate about traveling, experiencing new cuisines, and spending time with family and friends.
